HOW DOES PLASMA FIBROBLAST SKIN TIGHTENING WORK?

The precision device works by utilizing the voltage in the air between its tip and the skin, to form a plasma charge (arc). The tool itself never touches the skin, however plasma flash creates a tiny dot upon contact. There are no cuts, no blood and no damage caused to surrounding areas or deeper skin layers.

When an electrical arc is created it instantly shrinks the targeted skin. This micro-trauma stimulates new collagen (neocollagenesis). The tissue retraction and tightening give results that are comparable to invasive surgery. A series of tiny brown spots placed to attain the desired result for the excess skin. The skin around the spot tightens, pulling the cells closer together.

It is the only non-surgical treatment to reduce the excess skin instantly and successfully. You can resume regular activities right away with minimal discomfort.

Effects are noticeable right away. Full results become visible after 2-4 weeks. The client can resume regular activities right away with minimal discomfort.

Plasma Fibroblast Skin Tightening is virtually painless. Numbing cream is used to minimise discomfort before and during procedure. Side effects are minimal, and

complications are rare. Carbon crusts, tiny superficial dots which form directly on the skin, are part of the normal healing process. Correctly treated with aftercare cream will cause no threat and the crusts fall off 5-10 days after treatment. Aftercare instructions will be given following the procedure. It is very important to adhere to our aftercare advice.

DOES THE PROCEDURE HURT?

Fibroblast is a non-surgical treatment with little to no pain reported. Anaesthetic cream is applied to numb the treatment area prior to the procedure. Immediately after the treatment, the skin will be reddened and lightly swollen. This will usually last up to 3 days, although slight redness may remain for up to 2-3 weeks. Please note upper eye lids will have swelling for approximately 3-4 days, so bare this in mind when planning your treatment.

During the procedure, small dots of carbon crusts will form on the skin directly where the Fibroblast tool was applied. Crusts should not be touched for 5-10 days; however, post-procedure aftercare cream must be applied. To minimise complications, you will be informed on proper aftercare following the procedure.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

As Fibroblast is more than a simple tightening treatment and the effects should last as long as they would with invasive surgery. Like all surgical and cosmetic procedures, the effects of fibroblast are not entirely permanent as it does not stop any further ageing, however, the results you get should last for many years. As of today, permanent results are not possible, whether after Fibroblast procedure or traditional surgery, the skin is still will be subject to ageing.

The positive effects of treatment will be noticeable immediately and will continue to improve over 4 weeks. Additionally, there are lifestyle factors that can prevent the result from lasting as long as they can, such as smoking, alcohol consumption, and prolonged sun exposure.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE REQUIRED?

The number of treatments required will vary according to the area being treated, skin’s laxity, the desired degree of correction and the individual’s response to the treatment. Most clients see results instantly and this continues to improve over the course of the following 8 weeks. Further treatments can be carried out to get better results, although it is uncommon to require more than two treatments. Appointments must be spaced out by 8 weeks. Additional treatments will be at a discounted price. Please see our pricing for more details.

WHAT KIND OF SIDE EFFECTS CAN I EXPECT?

Plasma fibroblast has been shown to be a safe, non-invasive procedure when done by a fully certified technician. However, as with most cosmetic procedures, clients are likely to experience some minor side effects in the first 5-10 days after treatment. There will be some tiny brown marks in the treatment area. This is the result of scabbing and will flake away over a week or so, exposing a pink layer of healthy new skin. Some clients will also experience 3-5 days of swelling, especially with eyelid treatment. There is no damage to surrounding areas or deeper skin layers. To avoid side effects, follow the aftercare instruction given to you.

Fibroblast is very safe and side effects are rare, but infection, scarring and temporary change of skin pigmentation may occur if the client does not follow the adequate aftercare.
